Tatiana offers pro bono or by donation consultations to community workers and activists working on immigration and refugee cases. If by donation, the donation is made to The Virtual Immigration Legal Clinic for which funds are collected only to cover operating costs. Any additional funds are donated to social movements.
There is more demand for immigration and refugee law services than there are affordable and competent professional immigration services from a licensed practitioner. The aim of these consultations is to empower community workers and activists to assist the migrant communities they are working with where access to an ‘immigration professional’ is unavailable.
The Virtual Immigration Legal Clinic
Tatiana runs a monthly virtual immigration legal information clinic where she provides pro bono consultations to individuals directly affected by the immigration system via a video conferencing application. Please note that she is not representing clients or accepting new files at this time, but that she is running a legal information clinic where she provides brief consultations at no cost to racialized individuals with precarious status.
